Quincy Morris, a transplant from Texas, is best known as one of Lucy Westenra’s suitors, as well as one of the “Vampire Hunters” within Bram Stoker’s Dracula. He unsuccessfully tries to propose marriage to Lucy, but they remained fast friends until her untimely death. He is friends with Lucy’s other two suitors, Dr. John Seward and Arthur Holmwood. Quincy has a tough-guy image, and is the person within the Hunters that would not back out of a fight, as seen in his death by the hands of Dracula. However, he and Jonathan Harker, one of the other Hunters, are successful in killing Dracula before Quincy dies from his wounds.
